What kinds of amps & effects do you use & which do you reccommend?

Photos &/or Diagrams of your rig!

Here's my current set-up. It looks pretty ghetto, especially with the home-made pedal board, but it works for me! The Hughes & Kettner sounds incredible for a solid state amp and is just barely loud enough to give the band a good stage balance without driving the sound man at our local clubs nuts. I'm hoping to get my hands on a Fender Vibrolux in the next few months!

I have heard good things about T-REX and BLACKSTAR pedals, anyone tried them?

I have two main setups, will take pics of both this week.

My rig for FASHION WITH A GUN, KINGPIN and CLAIRE CLARKE is very simple:

100 WATT CUSTOM MADE KING ALL VALVE AMP (built by my old boss Peter King at Joondalup Music, the music instruments store I used to manage)
FRAMUS 2x12 CABINET
CHANNEL SWITCHER

That's it, so yes Tina you can just use a guitar and and amp if you want!

My other rig which I use for HUGE has more toys:

SHURE PGX WIRELESS into
BOSS TU-2 TUNER into
ADA MP-1 RACK-MOUNTED PREAMP into
DIGITECH MULTICHORUS into
DIGITECH SYNTH WAH (this is coming out to make room for a VOX wah this week) into
DIGITECH DIGIDELAY stereo outs into
ADA MICROTUBE 100 POWERAMP into
ROCK FORCE STEREO 4X12 CABINET (These are made in Western Australia, mine is loaded with UK Celestion speakers)

My home recording and session setup is simple:

DIGITECH GNX4

My solo acoustic setup utilises:

DIGITECH VOCALIST LIVE 2 for vocal harmonies
DIGITECH WHAMMY WAH which I just had lying around, I use the detune function to make a nice chorus sound.

WOW!!! I really have to get with the real world!! All that gear looks terrifying!!!! Start me off easy... What in the world is all that for??? I though all I would need is a guitar and an amp!!!!!

Very cool setup. I'm loving EH as well... You should check out their HOG. It's AWESOME!

Hey all, I'm pretty stuck on Electro Harmonix effects - I can't seem to get enough of them! Can anybody reccommend other brands or sounds that I should check out?

I recently acquired a vintage rackmount MXR Digital Delay, and it's blowing my mind! Even though it's digital, it still sounds so much more like a tape delay than anything else I've played through. I highly reccommend it.
